Some details of the accedent and the Miracle

GCS (Glasgow Coma Scale)

Starts at 3 (lowest score, dead body).  Ends at 15 (healthy body)

  • My Glasgow Coma Scale was 3 for more than 2 weeks…

Hill MD. Neurosurgeon (brain doctor)

  • Rated me 5% to max. 7% chance or surviving

I had a severe concussion from hitting the asphalt with my head at 20MPH

  • My braid is 10% to 15% dead in the front and back of the head
  • The skull had 3 big cracks
  • I lost about 40% of blood from my head bleeding
  • Hill, the brain surgeon, cut out and removed the front of my skull for 7 months

My accident permanently damaged the skull based (cranial) nerves.

Dr. Hill said “No doctor in this world can fix it, you will suffer for life with damaged nerves till the day you die”

Dr. Hill said “If you bring me a suitcase with one million dollars to fix your nerves, I’ll deny it because it cannot be done!”

  • I have ABSOLUTELY no smell, damaged Olfactory nerve (I), anosmia, I cannot smell anything at all
  • I have ABSOLUTELY no taste, Facial Nerve (VII), I cannot taste anything at all.
  • Double vision, I see double because my right eye does not line up with left eye.  Trochlear nerve damage
  • Dr. Hill said my skull is deteriorating and I may need another skull replacement with a plastic skull

Start to finish, recovery took about year and a half

The All Mighty God blessed us with family, friends and financial support!  My kids and I pray for Healing from Jehovah Rapha!

Lost work, clients, hospital bill was $3,180,000.00

On February 28, 2021, I was celebrating my oldest daughter’s birthday. For fun, I decided to take her and her friends on a ride on my golf cart. At first I was driving, then we switched and I let one of the girls drive. We were in our neighborhood so I didn’t think anything of it. Then for some reason, while the golf cart was in motion, going 20 miles per hour, I stood up and fell out of the golf cart. I tumbled and rolled on the asphalt, my head sustaining severe damage. I was immediately rushed to the hospital and the prognosis was not good. I was not conscious but the doctors were telling my family that I had sustained fractures in my skull and severe brain bleeding and bruising. They called it a traumatic brain injury. My brain began to swell and the pressure in my brain was building. The next couple of days the doctors tried to do everything they could outside of surgery to try and reduce the swelling but in the end, it came down to having the front part of my skull removed to allow room for my brain to swell as it needs and then get back to somewhat normal. I was in a coma for three weeks, hooked up to all kinds of machines that were keeping me alive. Every day was a question of whether I was ever going to wake up. Some doctors asked my family if I would want to even be kept alive on machines; others said I would be a vegetable for the rest of my life. But family, friends and churches all over were praying for a miracle. It was a very difficult time but the family had to wait and trust that His will be done.
